The Power of Showing Up: How Confidence is Built from Consistency, Not Perfection

So much of running an agency requires confidence. Pitching, pricing, hiring, and especially growth are all hinged on your confidence.

But confidence doesn’t come from knowing you’re the best. It comes from knowing you’ll show up, and keep showing up. It’s foolish to think things will work the first time, but they will eventually work if you’re willing to keep figuring it out.

There isn’t a single successful agency owner out there who wouldn’t cringe looking at the first version of their proposals, their first quotes, or their first anything. If you saw mine I would lose all credibility as an agency coach 😀

I spent years thinking confidence was something I’d earn after I proved myself. After I’d hit a revenue goal. After I landed a big client. After I had the right brand or strategy or website.

None of those gave me confidence, they needed confidence, and the confidence was built from the habit of showing up.

The moment things shifted for me was when I stopped questioning whether I was good enough and started backing myself to keep trying and keep improving.

You don’t need to be fearless, but you do need to know you’ll keep showing up, keep trying, keep learning, keep improving.
